Joe Kurowski received his undergraduate degree and Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago, and his law degree from the St. Louis University School of Law. Today as an attorney he focuses his practice in all areas of civil litigation, with an emphasis in products liability and toxic torts. Having worked at the firm in various capacities for several years, he is well-versed in all aspects of its litigation practice. Joe most recently has devoted his time to overseeing domestic and international investigations, as well as developing dispositive case strategies for his clients.

While in law school he served as a licensed student attorney with the St. Clair County State’s Attorney, where he conducted numerous bench trials, negotiated pleas, and assisted investigations into local criminal networks. Through the Civil Litigation Clinic at St. Louis University School of Law, Joe first-chaired a housing discrimination case to verdict, represented at-risk juvenile and indigent clients, and lobbied Missouri legislators on municipal court reform.

Before attending law school, Joe managed all aspects of client dockets as a paralegal for a highly regarded San Francisco law firm. He also served as a research assistant at the Nicolaus Copernicus University School of Law in Toruń, Poland. At Loyola, he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and president of the Association of Loyola Entrepreneurs. He also spent an undergraduate year at Loyola’s John Felice Rome Center studying art and language.

Joe is a member of the St. Clair County and East Saint Louis Bar Associations, serves on the advisory board for the Jan Karski Educational Foundation, and is a St. Louis chapter ambassador for the John Felice Rome Center.
